Staff Profiles 

Mike is responsible for overall direction, policy making, promotion, marketing and raising funds for major equipment in the SABC, together with the SABC Management Committee. He is a member of the Australian Biotechnology Advisory Council (ABAC) that advises the five Federal Ministers on national biotechnology policy. Mike is available to answer questions about the Centre and its operation; including incubation of companies and contract R&D.

Dave advises, assists and trains researchers using the Centre, and is also responsible for the day to day operation of the SABC laboratories and space management. Working with the Professional Officer Dave ensures that major equipment and computers are operational and that safety procedures are followed.

Andrea is responsible for the smooth running of SABC administration and compiles SABC finance..

Frances coordinates safety and lab maintenance issues with the Lab Manager. She also runs the DNA sequencing service and other items of equipment.
